NOTICE SHEET FEEDBACK – Please let me know whether the Church notice sheet meets your needs or whether you want something different. Some say they never read it, others always ask for it. DENIS WILSON – There will be a service of thanksgiving for Denis in our Church at 1 pm on Friday 24 April and after at The White Horse. Our prayers are with his family.

POPPLETON COMMUNITY RAILWAY NURSERY – Early Spring Open day, 10am- 4pm Saturday 25th April. Shrubs, herbs etc, trains, stalls, refreshments and more.
EMMAUS COURSE – The third part of the Emmaus course will be held on Thursdays from 7- 9 pm in Church as follows: Living the Christian life: 23rd April: Living God’s way, 30th April: Serving the Lord, 7th May: Your money and your life, 14th May: Learning to love, 21st May: Sharing the faith. CHRISTIAN AID BIG BREKKIE – Between 9-9.45 am on Sunday 10th May, in the Methodist Old Hall. Come and celebrate Christian Aid week at The Poppleton Churches’ Big Breakfast. You are welcome to breakfast with us. It is free, but you can donate if you wish to help end poverty. John Freeman will then tell us about the work of christian Aid at our United Service at All Saints Church. Christian Aid envelopes will also be at our Church & Coffee On The Green on 3rd & 17th May, or donate online at https://give.christianaid.org.uk/donate/CAM-009429
