YOUR CHURCH NEEDS YOU An assistant Bookkeeper is needed to help keep our finances in order. If you just have a few hours a week to spare and possibly a computer do have a word with Revd. Elizabeth Cushion. |
FLOWER ROTA – Each week after the Church service the flowers on the communion table are taken out by the flower team. This is a real mission of outreach.
Where are the Flowers taken? To anyone in the village who has had a family bereavement or who is ill. In addition they go to Church members on a special birthday (eg 18th, 80th, 90th, 95th or 100th) and on silver, ruby, gold or diamond anniversaries.
Request slips are in the box at the back of Church. Please remember to fill in all details in block capitals, as this is essential for those delivering flowers.
THE ANNUAL CHURCH MEETING – for 2026 will take place on SUNDAY 17th May after the 10.30am service led by our Minister Revd Elizabeth Cushion. All are invited to attend – everyone is welcome.
The meeting will include the election of Church Stewards and representatives to Church Council followed by a time of fellowship and open forum giving everyone the opportunity to raise and discuss issues regarding the life and future of our church.
As always, we are seeking to continue to develop the Church Leadership Team of Stewards, and encourage nominations to be given, in writing, to Revd Elizabeth or Christine Boothman, Church Council Secretary, prior to the date of the meeting. All nominations must have the previous consent of the person nominated. If you have an interest or seek to know more, please speak with Elizabeth or one of the Stewards.
