OXFAM CHRISTMAS FAIR – Thanks all! We took £1066 at the fair to support Oxfam’s work

IN THE LOOP

CHRISTMAS FAIR – Saturday 29th November 10am – 4pm: Local charity stalls, Christmas hamper raffle, Guess the weight of the Christmas cake. All age Christmas crafts, Poppleton Village Choir perform at 11am, Father Christmas may pay a visit! Coffee On The Green will serve festive refreshments all day, eg turkey, stuffing and cranberry sandwiches, mince pies with orange cream and Christmas pudding scones.

STOP PRESS ITEM:

Christmas Fair   Saturday 29th November   10 a.m. to 4 p.m
There will be stalls for cakes / bric-a-brac / books / jigsaws / plants / and guess the weight of the cake.
There will also be a Christmas hamper, which will rely on your generous contributions.
In the Inman Room there will be an  all age craft activities session and a visitation by Father Christmas.
At 11 a.m. the Village Choir will be singing for us in the new hall.
C.O.T.G. will be open all day, serving festive refreshments.
The new hall will be open on the Friday evening, 28th November between 5 p.m. and 6 30 p.m. for us to receive your generous contributions.
Come along and bring you friends for what should be a memorable seasonal event.

FIRST THURSDAY PARISH WALKING GROUP – meet at 9.25am on the first Thursday each month in All Saints Car Park, bring lunch and walking gear. Choose either: The Amble, about 4-5 miles and cafe visit or The Ramble, about 7 miles and bring your own. Info: Simon mob: 07831 367020. The next walks will be on 4th December.
